After attending a youth rally with his parents and other youth from his church, Jerry's father led him to Christ at home.  He was nine years old.  He was soon baptized at Faith Baptist Church in Sarasota, Florida, where  John McCall pastored.  "Pastor McCall's heavy emphasis on missions made a big impact on my life," Jerry says.  He surrendered to the ministry at age 15, then went on a summer mission trip to Costa Rica.  After high school, he attended Baptist Bible College, graduating in 1998.

Jerry served at Liberty Baptist Church in Sarasota as an intern for two summers and was hired as Assistant Pastor in 1998 after he graduated from BBC.  Dr. Gary Jackson is the founder and pastor of Liberty.  Jerry was on staff there at the church for over five years.

Even at five years old, Mindy realized that she would not go to heaven just because her father was a pastor and her mother a Christian-school teacher.  She had to make a salvation decision herself.  One night, her mother showed her from the Bible how to be saved, and Mindy accepted Jesus.  Mindy spent most of her childhood years attending Grandview Park Baptist Church and School in Des Moines, Iowa.

In the summer of 1992, Mindy's father, David McClintic, started Evangel Baptist Church in Bradenton, Florida.  After graduating from high school, she attended Bob Jones University for two years and transferred to Clearwater Christian College, graduated in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education.  Prior to deputation, Mindy was teaching piano lessons to more than 20 students.  She and Jerry have three children, Mikayla, Jeremiah, and Joel.

The Kinmans are approved missionaries with the Baptist Bible Fellowship Int'l.  After raising financial support, they spent one year in San Jose, Costa Rica studying the Spanish language at the Instituto de Lengua Española, and training under the ministry of Missionary John Barnes.  They have 3 children- Mikayla, Jeremiah, & Joel, and they have lived in Guatemala City since August, 2006.  They have since started 2 churches and 3 MANNA Feeding Centers.  Please pray that God will use them in great way to plant churches throughout the entire country of Guatemala.
